Viognier Cuvée Larsinos. A 100% Viognier, a favorite variety of George Skouras, who was in fact one of the first to plant it in Greece.
The vineyards are located on sandy soil and at an altitude of 60m. in Corinth.
A 30% of the wine is fermented in French oak barriques (50% new and 50% second-hand) of 225 liters, after the malolactic fermentation the wine ages sur lee for 6 months with regular batonnage. The final blend was bottled by using a screw cap and aged in the cellar of the winery for another 3 months before it is released on the market.
The colour is green-yellow with a few greenish hues. The nose is expressive and intense aromas of ripe apricot, mango and orange rind while aromas of elegant high quality French oak follow such as vanilla and honey. Fruit forward richness fills the mouth with flavours of rich cream, coconut and hazelnut butter. The finish has duration, volume, intensity and great complexity.
